Tech Circle LA: Building Community, One Room at a Time

What started as a few curated conversations at The Gathering Spot has grown into something that feels much bigger than a series of events. Tech Circle LA has become a living, breathing community—centered around collaboration, curiosity, and culture.

Over the past year, we've had the privilege of co-hosting gatherings with some of the most impactful organizations in tech and culture: NSBE, TEC Leimert, STEM So(ul)cial, /dev/color, New Relic, RenderATL, and more.

Each event has had its own vibe—panels, pitch nights, fireside chats, and mixers—but the throughline has always been the same:

Make space for honest conversation, intentional connection, and community that reflects us.

We’ve explored:

  • AI’s impact on creative industries

  • Funding journeys for Black founders

  • The intersection of STEM, art, and spirituality

  • What it means to thrive—not just survive—in tech

What’s made Tech Circle different is that it’s not just about tech. It’s about people. About bringing more of ourselves into the spaces we’re building and showing up for one another—beyond the business cards.

And we’re just getting started.
The future of tech doesn’t live in silos—it lives in community. And we’ll keep building that future, one room (and one real convo) at a time.
