Advancing Independence in Music—One Creator at a Time

For me, product work has never just been about features or roadmaps. It’s about building systems of trust—structures that create real choices and meaningful ownership for the people who’ve historically had the least of it.

That’s the vision I carried into music technology: helping independent artists access capital on their own terms. It meant building not just software, but reimagining the infrastructure of the music business to better serve the people who make the music.

One of the most meaningful projects I’ve led was sliceNote, a first-of-its-kind marketplace where artists could sell shares of their future royalties directly to investors. It was the most complex consumer-facing product I’ve built—and one that embodied the values of independence, ownership, and leverage for creators too often left out of traditional deals.

What made the work powerful wasn’t just the technology, but the clarity of vision.

Independence and ownership weren’t buzzwords—they are the guiding principles at beatBread.

That commitment—to turn systems into springboards, to make access feel less like a gate and more like an open door—is what continues to drive me, whether I’m working in music, AI, or real estate equity.

The mission continues. 🎶
